The hat is well made and fits great.  The stretchy band keeps it so snug, I'm not sure the wind lanyard is even necessary.  It is warmer than my husband's hat which has a mesh upper part to dissipate the heat.  I ordered green and my invoice said green, but I received a tan hat.  Tan is a better color for me anyway, so I'm not disappointed.
