Very disappointed that the rim on the polka dots boots is not padded like my old Sloggers, blue cows has a nice padded black rim. Beware, shoppers, that you order a Sloggers style with a padded top. These are not as comfortable.

This is my 3rd pair of boots that I have purchased. They have beautiful designs, they are high and keep the rain out, comfortable with or without socks. I have one pair at the front door, one at the back door and my newest ones stay in my car for those unexpected rain showers.

I have a pair of sloggers garden shoes that I love and they are the reason that I ordered the boots. The boots, however, have a different fit. They're much roomier in the foot and I ended up putting in two half-sizer insoles to improve the fit. Mostly, though, it's the height of the boot that is awkward. They hit on my calf in a place where I feel the top of the boot hitting and rubbing as I walk naturally. I think if they were a bit shorter or a bit taller, this would be less of an issue. Or perhaps if the tops were finished like the opening of the shoes are? I was thinking that I would wear them as much as the shoes, but because of the calf-rubbing height, I will only wear them when I have no better options. (Even with tall socks and jeans inside the boots, the feeling is uncomfortable.
