Not all styles have padded rim October 18, 2022 Reviewer: EK from Yellow Springs, OH United States   Very disappointed that the rim on the polka dots boots is not padded like my old Sloggers, blue cows has a nice padded black rim. They have beautiful designs, they are high and keep the rain out, comfortable with or without socks. Wanted to love them November 11, 2021 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from California, United States   I have a pair of sloggers garden shoes that I love and they are the reason that I ordered the boots. The boots, however, have a different fit. They're much roomier in the foot and I ended up putting in two half-sizer insoles to improve the fit. Mostly, though, it's the height of the boot that is awkward. They hit on my calf in a place where I feel the top of the boot hitting and rubbing as I walk naturally. I think if they were a bit shorter or a bit taller, this would be less of an issue. Or perhaps if the tops were finished like the opening of the shoes are? I was thinking that I would wear them as much as the shoes, but because of the calf-rubbing height, I will only wear them when I have no better options. (Even with tall socks and jeans inside the boots, the feeling is uncomfortable. Was this review helpful to you?
